Dans mon petit jardin

J'ai un bel arbre à fruit

L'envoyé d'Allah

L'envoyé d'Allah

Au cœur de l’Arabie,
Un messager naquit.
N’a pas connu son père,
Enfant perdit sa mère.

Mohammad, Mohammad,
Est l’envoyé d’ALLAH.
Sa mère s’appelait Amina,
Son père Abdoullah.

On l’appelait al-Amine.
Ce bon caravanier,
Khadija l’employait,
Et finit par l’épouser.

Mohammad, Mohammad,
Est l’envoyé d’ALLAH.
Un grand nuage le suivait,
Chaque fois qu’il voyageait.

Ils eurent six enfants,
Quatre filles et deux garçons.
Mais les garçons moururent,
Et seules les filles vécurent.

Al-Qassim et ‘Abdoullah,
Et Oum Koulthoum, Rouqayya,
Zaynab et Fatima-Zahra.

A l’âge de quarante ans,
Ce fut la révélation.
Dans la grotte de Hira,
Jibril lui dit « Iqra’ ! »

Est l’envoyé d’ALLAH.
